HYPER TEAM 9

1. SECRET LAIR
Fade up on EMPRESS CRODATIA, peering down through her portal pool.Giantifitron enters. We can only see his massive shins. The entire frame shakes with each step.

CRODATIA:
Aha! So, young fools! You think your super abilities are a match for me, Empress Crodatia of the Netherdimension?

GIANTIFITRON:
You are brooding again, imminence.

CRODATIA:
Oh! Giantifitron! I didn’t hear you come in.

Cut to Giantifitron's unbelieving reaction.

CRODATIA:
Soon I shall be rid of HyperTeam 9 and thus the way will be paved for my complete domination of the Earth!

GIANTIFITRON:
And Earth is important because…?

CRODATIA:
It has billions of little humans who will serve me in my future conquests.

GIANTIFITRON:
…of more planets with more people to serve your conquests.

CRODATIA:
Of course!

GIANTIFITRON:
I’ll be on the patio.

CRODATIA:
Metal fool! Do you not wish to witness the demise of HyperTeam 9 at the hands of my -
(quick pan to a pack of ninja warriors with Zorro style head wraps as opposed to the usual fully-obscured face) - Ninja Warriors??

GIANTIFITRON:
(pause) I’ll be on the patio.

2. PARK EXTERIOR
ADAM sits, giddy with love, next to ANA MAE.Pink hearts float up from his head

ADAM:
(blush) Gosh, Ana Mae, you sure are pretty. Will you go out with me?

ANA MAE:
Adam, you’re a sweet boy, but what with me being a cosmic super hero and midterms coming up, I don’t know when I’ll have the time.

ADAM:
Aeeeee! (runs away)

ANA MAE:
Adam! Don’t take it that way!

ARYU:
I think I scared him off, sis!

MONTANA:
Aryu, you scare everyone! (everyone laughs hysterically) Haaaay! Look, Aryu! Ninja warriors!

ARYU:
Wrong, Montana! Extradimensional Ninja warriors! I’ll take care of them! Blinding Fist Attack!! (several ninja go flying) Kicking Seizure Attack!! (more ninja go flying, ARYU appears with a trickle of blood on his mouth) Can’t hold them off alone! Ana Mae! Powersuit Go!

ANA MAE:
Good as done, big brother! (ANA MAE becomes encased in a suit of pink power armor) Powersting Attack! (laser flashes from her arm, ninja go flying). There are too many of them!

MONTANA:
My Fuzzy Fighter will show those Ninja Warriors who’s boss! Squeeg! Sweetness Attack!

SQUEEG:
Squeeeeeeeeeg! (SQUEEG leaps into the air, radiating shimmery rainbows and hearts, eyes large and glittery)

NINJA WARRIORS:
Huh? Oh no! Too sweet! (ninja warriors’ teeth fall out; they run away)

ANA MAE:
Thanks, Montana! You saved the day!

ARYU:
With just a little more practice, you’ll be the best Fuzzy Fighter Trainer ever!

MONTANA:
Well I couldn’t have done it without Squeeg! (SQUEEG leaps into MONTANA’s arms and they hug)

3. THE PATIO
EMPRESS CRODATIA stands overlooking the city from a penthouse patio. GIANTIFITRON lounges in a chaise, umbrella drink nearby, sun reflector in his hands.

CRODATIA:
Curse that kid and his Fuzzy Fighter! My plan would have worked if it weren’t for him!

GIANTIFITRON:
Almost certainly.

CRODATIA:
You may have kept the world safe for now, Hyper Team 9, but beware! I, Empress Crodatia of the Netherdimension, have not yet accepted defeat! Next time, I shall prevail! Muhahahahahahahahaha!

Giantifitron rolls his eyes.

GIANTIFITRON:
Oh god, not the laugh. It pegs my audio circuits.

Fade out. Roll credits.
End theme music should be some hokey Japanese pop song with completely non-sequitur lyrics when translated: “Our hearts travel / like a glass rhinoceros / always searching / for endless pudding snacks / we could be / now and future / the happy cherry mint / of love… So hold on / love can find the increasement / it’s always New Year’s Day…
