No Speech fix
If you're not hearing speech durning video, you
probably have a Sound Blaster Pro sound card. This is a known problem and
Sound Blaster is working on a solution. Basiclly, there's an
incompatibility between current Sound Blaster Pro drivers and Quicktime
Video recorded at certain frequencies. Cureently there are two solutions
available:
Install Windows 95/98 which has a new 32 bit Sound Blaster Pro driver that
doesn't have this problem. or
Install older Sound Blaster drivers that don't have the incompatibility.
Bear in mind, the older drivers (1992-93) aren't as reliable as current
drivers and can lead to general system errors. Contact Creative Labs for
