Originally appearing in HyperBole Magazine, this on-going group grope of history is sure to shine a little light into the dimmer corners of modern existence.
This is an interesting one. Is it a pessimistic comment on the reality of human nature, or an ironic reminder of the law of kharma?

I see it as pessimistic. I'm not sure if that refers to the idea that the reward for a genuine good deed (as such) is something unwanted, or rather a question of the motive of such a good deed in the first place.
